The status of insulating paint in insulating structures
In electrical equipment, the amount of insulating material accounts for a considerable proportion of the total material. Take steam turbine generators as an example, the material cost of the main insulation accounts for 1/3 ~ 1/2 of the total material cost of the generator. The status in the insulation structure can be illustrated with the following examples.
(1) With the development of the electrical industry, the insulation structure of small and medium-sized motors is required to develop toward high voltage, large capacity, light weight, and miniaturization. The important measure for miniaturization of motors is to increase the operating temperature. Therefore, the heat resistance of insulating paint And electrical performance has a decisive influence on the insulation life of the motor.
(2) With the expansion of the installed capacity of power stations in the world, the demand for insulation materials and varnishes has increased proportionally. Calculated based on average consumption, 70 tons of insulating materials are required per 10,000 kilowatts of installed capacity, of which insulating paint accounts for 40%. To meet the needs of small and medium-sized motors, the sales of F-type insulation paints have reached about 20%. At present, large and medium-sized motors are developing in the direction of H-class and C-class modification.
(3) The emergence of a new insulation structure must meet the reliability of the motor in various harsh conditions. Therefore, it is expected that new insulation paint will be matched with it.
It can be seen that the role of insulating paint in the electrical industry plays a significant role.
